Ten years ago I lived one of the best experiences that a student can
live, be an Erasmus one. Going abroad, to Groningen (The Netherlands),
going out of home, live on your own for the first time, with a different
way of life around…all this facts hit your life and your approaches,
but finally they get stronger. Knowing a new culture, not just for a few
days as in a tourist trip but for a long time, is something that
everybody should live, so that we will be able to compare, opening our minds and growing up.
They were only
five months; however they marked your whole life. Great and
unforgettable experiences, as well as friendships that grew rapidly and
they still continue.
So, to
celebrate this anniversary, from the last days of September’13 until the
first days of February’14, I will wear some clothes which evoke that
experience: the t-shirt that I wore for the 4 Mijl van Groningen
that Ger Ettes gave me, or the Groningen Atletiek clothes, or the KPN
company running-shirt that Jos Richie gave me away, as well as other
clothes which will recall these marvellous months.
